GUILSFIELD make the trip to Corwen following the departure of top scorer Adam Davies on Saturday.

The former Welshpool Town striker joined JD Cymru Premier side Aberystwyth Town in midweek having struck 17 goals since his summer arrival at Clos Mytton.

A club statement read: “We wish Adam the very best upon his step up to the Premier. He will be a big loss and has improved immensely as target man in half a season.”

Davies thanked Guilsfield for his time at Clos Mytton, saying : “A massive thanks to everyone at Guilsfield for the past six months. A top drawer club with fantastic people involved. All the best for the rest of the season.”

The Guils travel to the struggling Wrexham side without the suspended Andy Ford while fellow defender Robbie James is also a doubt with captain Sam Litchfield now back in training following injury.

Meanwhile Llanrhaeadr make the trip to Conwy Borough with a depleted squad with Tom Gale, Gary Meredith and Tom Evans suspended while Iwan Matthews and Matt Evans fitness doubts.

Director of football Marc Griffiths said: “We currently have the best away form in the league this season and we will be looking to continue that but Conwy will be tough opposition having taken Prestatyn all the way last weekend.

“Not many sides have managed that recently.”

Elsewhere Penrhyncoch make the trip to Gresford Athletic.

The Roosters are without several key players with Tom Evans, Steffan Gittins and Owain James unavailable.

Manager Gari Lewis said: “Gresford are always a massive test and have dangers all over the park.

“Jake Eyre has the most dangerous left foot in the league in my opinion.

“They are also a big physical outfit that can overpower you so we will need to match them.”

Meanwhile Llanfair United hit the road for Rhyl.

Manager Rhys Stephens said: “Rhyl is a great place to go and play football.

“We’re looking forward to yet another big challenge which this league throws up every week.”
