Rhayader Town entertain Penparcau in the MMP-Nl Mid Wales League Two match of the day.

Both sides are battling for promotion and go into the game on a high.

Rhayader manager Dai Davies said: “Confidence is high and we know what a tough game and challenge Penparcau will offer but if we can concentrate on what we do well then we will have a big chance to continue our run.”

Meanwhile Penparcau arrive expecting a battle at the Weirglodd.

“We will have to up our game but we hope to get the three points,” said a spokesman.

Abermule entertain Dolgellau with manager Stuart Emberton aiming to kick start the campaign after a testing New Year programme.

“We’ve needed to be more clinical but hope to pick up some points against good opposition on Saturday,” said Emberton.

Dyffryn Banw manager Awi Williams called on his side to impose themselves at Churchstoke.

“We need to be more clinical and on the front foot and not allow opposing teams to stamp there authority on the game,” said Williams.

Meanwhile Machynlleth host Forden United in Gwynfor Edwards’ first match as part of the home backroom following his exit from local rivals Carno last week.

Forden manager Jonny Roberts targeted an improved display having lost to the Maglonians in the reverse fixture.

“We’re hoping to give them a much better game after being beaten heavily at home last time out.

“We take our good form into this match but are under no illusions that it will be a really tough game against a team flying high in the league.”

Elsewhere bottom of the table Knighton Town entertain Borth United.

Knighton have one eye on next season with Mark Jones confirmed as the club’s new manager for next season.

Meanwhile Borth United travel wary of an upset at the hands of the basement side.

A Borth United spokesman said: “Knighton have a great set-up and strengthened while their are no easy games in this league.”
