JONNY Evans led Penrhyncoch to a 5-1 at Machynlleth in the third round of the Central Wales Cup on Tuesday night.
The JD Cymru North side arrived at Cae Glas wary of a potential banana skin with the hosts riding high in MMP-NL Mid Wales League Two.
However Evans starred with a hat-trick while goals from Tom Evans and Steff Davies completed a comfortable margin of victory for the Roosters with the hosts reducing the arrears through Richie Evans.
