Builth Wells 33

Seven Sisters 5

BUILTH Wells produced their best performance of the season with a commanding home victory over Seven Sisters in WRU Division Two West Central.

The Bulls dominated from the first whistle with the hosts keen to impose themselves.

The aggressive opening led to the opening try from Ben Pugh with Robb Lloyd adding the conversion.

Builth doubled their lead before the break with Alex Brown crossing for a try with Lloyd converting.

Lloyd maintained his kicking masterclass in the second-half with massive kicks deep into the Sisters half.

One such kick led to Steffan Towns crossing for his side’s third try with Lloyd converting.

Sisters now faded and Builth further extended their lead with a well worked team try for centre Tom Davies.

Coach Ben Duggan shuffled his front row late on with replacements Ashley Parry and Will Nixon combining with the latter adding fifth try.

Manager Simon John said: “Rob Lloyd seems to be getting batter with age. He was a general at the back while Wayne Morris and Lucas Evans gave big performances.

“A massive thank you from the whole team to our wonderful supporters who, home and away, are simply the best.”
