Llanfair United 0 Guilsfield 3

GUILSFIELD marked their final game of the decade with a resounding derby victory at bottom of the table Llanfair United.

The struggling hosts frustrated the Guils until midway through the first-half when Callum Bromley scrambled home from close range after Llanfair failed to clear their lines.

Llanfair looked to remain in the game only to be frustrated by the well drilled visitors with Andy Ford in solid form.

Guilsfield doubled their advantage on the stroke of half-time when Adam Jenkins calmly slotted past an advancing Danny Foulkes to leave the hosts with a mountain to climb in the second-half.

Guilsfield settled the outcome with 25 minutes remaining with Adam Davies pouncing after Foulkes fumbled Jake Cook’s corner to ensure now way back for Llanfair.

United continued to battle for a route back into the game but could find no way through the Guils who comfortably saw out the remainder of the game to consolidate their place in the JD Cymru North top six while Llanfair’s wait for a first win of the season continued.
