Cefn Druids 0 TNS 5

GREG Draper starred with a second-half hat-trick as TNS ran riot at Cefn Druids on Boxing Day.

Both sides began with intent with Jamie Mullan drilling wide for the Saints before James Davies was denied by Blaine Hudson's block for the Druids.

Adrian Cieslewicz twice went close before TNS led on 26 minutes with Danny Redmond lashing home from the edge of the area for his first goal of the season.

Cieslewicz doubled the lead before the break with a cool finish from Simon Spender's 35th minute right wing cross.

Spender continued to shine and crossed for Draper to open his account early in the second-half to settle the outcome.

Draper added his second on 65 minutes with another fine finish after good work by Jamie Mullan before completing his hat-trick five minutes later after Mullan was bundled over in the area.

TNS could have added to their tally with both Cieslewicz and Kurtis Byrne going close but the Oswestrians had already done enough to ensure an emphatic Boxing Day win.

TNS: Harrison, Spender, Davies, Routledge, Brobbel (Byrne 68), Draper, Redmond, Cieslewicz, Hudson (Harrington 62), Mullan, Edwards (Nembhard 60). Subs: Dutton, Ebbe,Whitehouse.
