Guilsfield overcame derby rivals Llanfair United 3-0 at Mount Field in JD Cymru North.

Callum Bromley opened the scoring after 21 minutes before Adam Jenkins struck on the stroke of half-time.

Adam Davies completed the scoring after the hosts failed to clear Jake Cook's 66th minute corner to ensure no way back for Llanfair as the Guils celebrated derby glory.

Meanwhile honours ended even at Clappers Lane as Llanrhaeadr returned from Gresford Athletic with a point following a 1-1 draw.

Matty Williams gave Llanrhaeadr a dream start with a fourth minute opener only for the hosts to level 10 minutes later through Jake Eyre with the sides proving inseparable for the rest of the game.

MMP-NL Mid Wales League One

PETER Rees returned to haunt Carno with two goals as Caersws celebrated a 3-1 derby win at Ty Brith in MMP-NL Mid Wales League One.

The former Carno ace struck early to give the Bluebirds a dream start before completing his brace with a lofted shot over goalkeeper Chris Brown before the break.

Elliot Jones' deflected cross put the seal on the visitors victory midway through the second-half before Ioan Humphreys headed a late consolation for the hosts.

Meanwhile Llanidloes Town maintained their march toward the title with a 3-1 win at home to Bow Street.

Josh Hartrick, Gregg Brown and Gareth Owen struck for the Daffodils with Steffan Richards replying for the visitors.

A Jack Hammond penalty proved the difference as Builth Wells battled to a 1-0 win at home to Radnor Valley while Luke Mumford struck all four goals as Kerry eased to a 4-1 win at home to Llansantffraid.

Welshpool Town also proved a class apart in a 5-1 win over Four Crosses with doubles from Will Thomas and Ricky Litchfield while Ian MacLeod completed the tally.

Elsewhere Andy Evans struck for Berriew in a 1-1 draw at home to Montgomery Town while Aberaeron were convincing 4-1 winners at Tywyn Bryncrug.

MMP-NL Mid Wales League Two

MACHYNLLETH stormed to a 7-1 win at home to Knighton Town to maintain their push for the title.

Jac Petrie led the rout with a hat-trick with Harry Holt, Richie Evans, Dillon Browne and Callum Page completing the drubbing at Cae Glas.

Waterloo Rovers boosted their own promotion bid with a 3-2 win at Newbridge with goals from Andrew Gwilt, Adam Gough and Nathan James ensuring the Welshpool side the spoils with Ollie Woods and an own goal keeping Bridge in contention.

Elsewhere Dolgellau completed a 2-0 win at Penparcau while Rhayader Town eased to a 4-0 win at Presteigne courtesy of goals from Ryan Addison, Aaron Bates, Jamie Evans and Kyle Morgan.

Forden United's home clash with Borth United was postponed while Abermule's scheduled league meeting with Churchstoke was also cancelled with the sides instead meeting at Cae Camlad in the ER Jenkins Cup with a Charlie Kinsey strike earning Mule a 1-0 win and a ticket to the second round.
