A TOM Ellis double and a goal from Nick Roberts earned Waterloo Rovers a 3-1 win at home to Dolgellau in the second round of the ER Jenkins Cup.
Owain Williams reduced the arrears for the visitors but the Welshpool hosts marched on.
Elsewhere a Ryan Edwards hat-trick inspired Penparcau to a 5-2 first round win at home to Borth United with Mike Gornall and Lee Jones strikes cancelling replies from Ryan Davies and Gethin ap Dafydd.
The other first round tie between Churchstoke and Abermule was postponed with Camlad Park waterlogged on Saturday along with Friday’s scheduled clashes between Machynlleth an d Forden United and Rhayader Town and Newbridge.
