LLANDRINDOD Wells battled in vain in the capital before becoming the latest victims of Cardiff Saracens who completed a 43-12 victory.
The youthful Budgies were always up against it with their hosts unbeaten in Specsavers Division Three East Central C this season and gunning for honours.
Will Whetsone and Bryn Wheeler starred for the Sarries with two tries each while Rob Jones, Tom Rowe and Adam Jones also added tries.
Wheeler completed the rout with four successful conversions for the dominant capital side.
To their credit the Powys side were much improved after the break and reduced the deficit with tries from Dan Oakley and debutant Ashley Wilcox with one conversion from Ashley Hammond.
