LLANFAIR United stayed rooted to the foot of the table following defeat at Ruthin Town.
The hosts led after just six minutes with Dan Cox scrambling home Ilan Hughes' corner.
Ruthin continued to dictate the game and doubled their lead just before the break with Llyr Morris releasing William Owen to slot past an advancing Mark Richards.
Ruthin extended their lead through Kevin Evans early in the second-half before United reduced the arrears through Josh Astley.
United continued to press but with seconds remaining the hosts had the final say with Morris netting from the penalty spot following an infringement.
