BOW Street celebrated a hard-fought first round win at local rivals Borth United to progress in the MMP-NL Mid Wales League Cup.
Goals from Justin Quinn and Ryan Davies ensured the hosts were always in a competitive cup tie but replies from Lee Crumpler, Tom Wynn and Steff Richards earned Street a 3-2 extra-time win.
Elsewhere Aberaeron made light work of Aberystwyth University with the first division hosts marching to an emphatic 7-0 win.
Gareth Severs led the rout with a hat-trick while strikes from Dan James, Llew Lloyd, Lamin Manjang and an own goal set-up a second round clash with Bow Street.
