DANNY Barton was the toast of Guilsfield with his six goals inspiring the reserves to an 8-3 win at Caersws Reserves in the third round of the Emrys Morgan Cup.
Harry Garthwaite and Luke Francis completed the Guils tally at the Recreation Ground with a Tommy Jones double and Bobby Richards strike accounting for the Bluebirds’ replies.
Elsewhere Bont edged a 2-1 win at home to Llanidloes Town Reserves with goals from Gwynfryn Hughes and Trevor Jenkins cancelling a reply from Chris Jones.
Felinfach also progressed with goals from Joe Jenkins and Rhys James enough to complete a 2-1 win at Builth Wells Reserves.
The draw for the fourth round was due to take place as the County Times went to press.
