Llanrhaeadr 2
Ruthin Town 2
LLANRHAEADR were denied a return to winning ways as Ruthin Town snatched a last gasp point.
Ruthin led on 15 minutes with Garmon Hafal on target before the hosts began to impose themselves.
Iwan Matthews fired wide before the same player met Matty Williams’ cross only for goalkeeper Ryan Goldston to produce a smart save.
The villagers levelled on 34 minutes with Tom Evans heading home Iain Edmunds’ free-kick and led at the break with Matthews firing home a penalty after being impeded by Goldston.
Goldston kept Ruthin in the game by tipping Williams’ shot over the bar midway through the second-half.
Ruthin laid siege and with seconds remaining the pressure told with a penalty awarded as Llyr Morris slotted home from the spot.
