Llangefni Town 0 Guilsfield 1
GUILSFIELD began life without Nathan Leonard with a hard fought win at Llangefni Town.
The long serving club stalwart departed for hometown club Oswestry Town the previous week but his former side did not show any signs of weariness.
Guilsfield made the long trip to Anglesey in good spirits but despite dominating the possession the villagers struggled to create any clear openings.
A rare headed effort from Steve Kehoe was smothered by goalkeeper Mike Jones at the start of the second-half in the hosts best opening of the game.
However Guilsfield led on the hour when the home side lost possession in their own half with Jake Cook capitalising with a fine shot beyond goalkeeper Tyler French.
Guilsfield comfortably saw out the remainder of the contest to maintain their climb up the table.
GUILSFIELD: Jones, Bromley, Cathrall, Ford, Litchfield, James, Cook, Harries, Davies, Clifton (Lloyd 82), Jenkins. Subs: Parry, Richards.
