PETER Rees struck twice as Caersws Reserves battled to a 4-2 win at Waterloo Rovers Reserves in Mitsubishi Division Two of the JT Hughes Montgomeryshire League.
Tom Jones and Sam Barker goals sealed the spoils while Chris Proctor and Luke Evans reduced the arrears.
Elsewhere Coren Stevens starred with a hat-trick as Welshpool Town Reserves strolled to an 8-1 win at home to Churchstoke Reserves.
A Jake Mann double and goals from Luke Thomas, Warren Powell and Tom Halliday cancelled an own goal in reply to complete the rout.
