BERRIEW manager Dave Jones has warned his players to expect a battle against Penparcau in the third round of the Welsh Trophy on Saturday.
New signing Andy Evans is ineligible while Harry Watkins is unavailable for the clash at Talbot Field.
Jones said: "We are looking forward to what will be a very tough game against a good Penparcau side.
"Although they are in the second division they are a team full of players who have and should be playing at a higher standard and look a certainty for promotion this season.
"However we are keen to progress and want a good run in the trophy and get further than the last 16 which we achieved last season.
Penparcau arrive unbeaten in the league this season and striving to cause an upset.
Manager Andy Evans said: "We are quite confident playing teams that are higher opposition and we know on our day we are capable of a win.
"The lads are looking forward to a good challenge again."
