FORDEN United continue to develop their facilities.

Having improved the playing surface at their Recreation Field ground the MMP-NL Mid Wales League Two club has now installed dug outs for the first time.

The dug outs were obtained from JD Cymru North side Llanfair United and installed at their new home thanks to sponsorship from local architect and club supporter Ian Ellis.

Manager Jonny Roberts said: “Thanks to Ian Ellis for investing in Forden United Football Club and sponsoring our new dug outs.

“They look great and are a fantastic addition to our facilities.

“As a club we would also like to thank Llanfair United Football Club for selling us their old dug outs.

“A lick of paint and they are as good as new.”

The club has also erected a new fixture board at the entrance of the football field near the village school.

The club is keen to promote club and fixture sponsors to the local community.

The club, popularly known as the Barcodes among supporters, play their first ever ER Jenkins Cup tie on Saturday with Knighton Town making the trip.
