PENRHYNCOCH host Bangor City on Saturday with manager Gari Lewis conceding the North Wales side a mystery.

The fallen giants of Welsh football have endured a turbulent few seasons since demotion from the JD Cymru Premier with former Argentinian international Pedro Pasculli the latest manager to try and steady the ship.

City arrive at Cae Baker with a foreign legion of a squad.

Lewis said: “It is another huge test and not knowing or seen any of the Italian and overseas players before just adds to it all.”

Lewis piled praise on his players after progressing in the JD Welsh Cup last week.

“The boys have been tremendous,” said Lewis. “After the draw in Porthmadog we dug deep against Cardiff Corries and did what we needed to do.”

Midfielder Gwion Pugh-Jones is unavailable while Lance Jones is suspended with defender Jon Foligno struggling with a groin strain.

Lewis said: “We will leave it until the last minute to see if Jon recovers for the Bangor City game.”
