FOUR Crosses crashed to a heavy defeat at JD Cymru North title chasers Flint Town United.
The MMP-NL Mid Wales League One side had no answer to the dominant Deesiders who led through Kyle Smith after 10 minutes.
It was all one way at Cae Y Castell as the formidable hosts underlined their superiority and put the tie to bed by the interval.
Richie Foulkes doubled the hosts lead five minutes later before Callum Bratley added a third before half-time.
Flint cut loose after the break with Alex Titchiner joining the spree before Foulkes added his second of the tie.
Brandon Burrows added the sixth before Titchiner completed his brace and substitute Andrew Brown struck either side of the hour.
Four Crosses’ misery was completed with seven minutes remaining as man of the match Foulkes completed his hat-trick and ensured a long way home for the villagers.
FOUR CROSSES: Clewlow, Miah (Evans 67), Thompson, Powell, Bishton, Pugh, Weetman, Gerrard (G Jones 75), C Davies (C Williams 51), H Davies, Simms. Subs: Hughes, E Williams.
