Waterloo Rovers 1 Mold Alexandra 8

WATERLOO Rovers suffered a day to forget as Mold Alexandra ran riot at Maesydre.

The Welshpool side were reduced to 10 men inside the opening five minutes and never recovered as Mold ruthlessly put the tie to bed by half-time.

Rovers were dealt a hammer blow when an adjudged handball earned Callum Foulkes his early marching orders from referee Mark Farrington with Danny Warren converting the resulting spot kick.

However the hosts replied with a penalty of their own five minutes later with Tom Ellis on target.

Mold stormed back with Warren completing his brace after half an hour and goals from Rhys Nash and Connor Kendrick all but settling the tie by half-time.

Kevin Day starred with a hat-trick as Mold took full advantage of their numerical advantage after the break with Kendrick also completing his brace.
