THE RADNOR and District Netball League season is in full swing.

This season 11 teams playing in two divisions meet for fixtures at Llandrindod Wells Sports Centre every Monday from 7-9pm.

Teme Valley Tigers beat Radnor 33-3 in the opening game while Builth Wells saw off Jelly Babies 32-15 and added a second win to their record with a 34-13 win over Radnor.

However the Jelly Babies chalked their first win of the campaign with a 27-11 over Radnor the following week.

Meanwhile Gleision prevailed 43-41 winners over Brecon in a first division thriller while Jets beat a new look Rhayader 57-11 and maintained their bright start with a 56-27 win over Beacons and 53-9 win over Gleision.

Llandrindod Wells have also opened their account for the season courtesy of a 24-17 win over Y Bannau while also beating Jelly Babies 23-18.

Painscastle opened their campaign with a 41-21 victory over Gleision and maintained their bright start to the season with a 45-25 verdict over Rhayader.
