BUILTH Wells went top of the table following a thrilling victory at home to Pencoed.
The Bulls enjoyed a dream start and raced ahead with prop Ted Davies opening the scoring with the opening try, converted by Rob Lloyd.
The scoreboard continued to be worked with centre Tom Davies breaking to add a second try before wing Kyle Baggett added a third with both converted by Lloyd.
However Pencoed rallied and reduced the arrears with a try from prop Mike Ridley, converted by Adam Williams before Jamie Dyer added a second try before the break.
The Bulls steadied their nerves with a penalty from Lloyd before two quickfire tries from Baggett settled the outcome with Pencoed ending the game on top with tries from Zac Taylor and Dyer.
