WELSHPOOL Sharks Swimming Club held its annual gala at the town’s Flash Leisure Centre last month.
The successful event saw nearly 50 of the club’s junior members take to the pool in a wide range of disciplines.
The club continues to go from strength under the coaching of Alan Webster.
The club trains every Monday, Wednesday and Friday at the Flash Leisure Centre from 7-8pm and will be extending its coaching programme to adults every Wednesday from 8-9pm.
Meanwhile the club holds its annual presentation evening at the town’s COWSHACC venue on Saturday, October 19 from 7pm.
The evening will include the presentation of certificates, medals and trophies from the gala along with a buffet, raffle and disco with all parents and swimmers invited to attend.
