LLANDRINDOD Wells prevailed 3-0 winners at Rhayader Town in the first round of the Aspidistra Radnorshire Cup in midweek.
Goals from Robbie Nicholls, Kieran McCarley and Matty Tong ensured the Spamen's ticket.
A Mason Jones thunderbolt earned Llanidloes Town a 1-0 win at home to Newbridge.
Meanwhile Brecon Corinthians won the county town derby with doubles from Gareth Aplin and Joel Evans, along with a Craig Evans strike, completing a 5-0 win at home to Brecon Northcote.
