RADNOR hit the road for Carmarthen in division one of the South Wales Women’s Hockey League this week.
The village club will look to maintain their decent start to the season having won and lost one of their two opening games.
Senior player Elin Wozencraft was on target in Radnor’s defeat at home to Rhondda last week and urged her team-mates to remain positive.
“We played well and I am sure we will improve as the season continues,” said Wozencraft.
“It’s a competitive league but I think we can beat most on our day and we will look to get three points at Carmarthen on Saturday.”
The village club, known as the Goats, continue to punch above its weight in the South Wales women’s hockey pyramid with the club striving to return to the premier league and renew rivalries with neighbours Presteigne.
