Porthmadog 0 Penrhyncoch 0
PENRHYNCOCH returned from the Llyn peninsula with a point following a midweek stalemate at Porthmadog.
Ilan Ap Gareth, Mel McGuiness and Jay Gibbs tested Penrhyn goalkeeper Leigh Jenkins before the Roosters ended the first-half on top with Steffan Gittins and Tom Evans forcing home No1 Paul Pritchard into action.
Porthmadog almost made the breakthrough on the stroke of half-time only for Jenkins to deny John Owen.
The second-half descended into a midfield slog with neither side forcing clear openings and restricted to long range efforts.
Gittins, Steff Davies and Jonny Evans blazed over for Penrhyncoch while Owen dragged wide late on for Porthmadog as the match ended in a goalless draw at the Traeth,
PENRHYNCOCH: Jenkins, Rimmer, Pemberthy, O James, S James, Pugh-Jones, Rees, T Evans, Davies (Burrel 85), J Evans, Gittins. Subs: M Evans, Morgan, Thomas, Meredith.
