WELSHPOOL kickstarted their North Wales Women’s League season with a 5-0 win at home to Pwllheli.

Beth Lewis and Heidi Langford both struck hat-tricks while Nia Jones’ double completed the rout.

Elsewhere Presteigne thumped Pembroke 10-1 in the South Wales Premier League Two.
