TREGARON Turfs moved eight points clear at the top of the Cambrian Tyres Aberystwyth League with an 11-1 thrashing of Aberdyfi.
Cledan Davies and Rhun Garner both struck hat-tricks while Daniel Owen and Rhodri Jones doubles and a Mel Davies strike ensured a late Ben Price strike was mere consolation for threadbare Aberdyfi.
Meanwhile Talybont sealed a place in the second round of the league cup with Osian Thomas, Mike Fitzpatrick and Clint Middleton on target in a 3-1 win over Penrhyncoch Reserves.
A Dean Coleman double and goals from Daniel Owen and Garin Evans earned Bont a 4-2 win at Borth United Reserves in the first round of the Newman Memorial Trophy with Zak Douglas netting twice in reply.
Elsewhere Chris Carton's double helped Padarn United to a 5-0 win over the club's second string while Dolgellau Reserves withdrew as Aberystwyth University Reserves received a bye.
