LLANFAIR United host Porthmadog on Saturday with the Mid Wales side bidding to kick start their JD Cymru North campaign.
United manager Rhys Stephens remained upbeat despite two late goals at Buckley Town last week once again frustrating their best efforts to climb the table.
United led against the Wrexham side only for two goals in five minutes a quarter of an hour from the end to continue their wait for their first win of the season.
Stephens hoped to emulate fellow early season strugglers and weekend visitors Porthmadog who celebrated their win last week.
Stephens said: “They’ll be on a high after their first win last week.
“They are a good side and it was always going to be a matter of time before they turned it around.
“We’ll be hoping to do the same with our season on Saturday.”
Meanwhile Guilsfield also return to the comforts of home with high flying Conwy Borough this visitors to Clos Mytton.
The Guils bid to recover after last week’s horror first-half showing at Colwyn Bay culminated in a 4-1 defeat.
