WELSHPOOL’S Ceri Chapman rode to glory in the second round of the Dodson and Horrell 1.10m National Amateur Championships.
Chapman and her 13 year old British bred mare Dellrose Rosie fended off tough competition to claim victory in 30.97 seconds for a 0.86 margin of victory over runner up Lorna Madden on Enesco.
The second round 12 fence track was designed by Ian Clark.
Chapman is well known in Powys sporting circles, previously representing Welshpool Hockey and Welshpool football clubs.
