Penybont United Ladies Football Club has been formed and will compete in the Herefordshire Development League this season.
PENYBONT United Football Club has formed a senior women’s side.
The Racecourse Ground club unveiled its new women’s side this week with the Polecats entering the Herefordshire Development League this season.
Gavin Johnson and Phil Davies will manage and coach the side which trains at Llandrindod Wells astro turf every Thursday from 8-9pm.
Johnson said: “We are extremely proud to have a women’s team and look forward to watching it grow.”
Many of the players emerged through the ranks of Llandrindod Wells Girls Football Club and the club’s emergence provides a huge boost to football in the county.
