THE next generation of Mid Wales rugby talent took to the field in last weekend’s RGC Under 16s Cup.
Meifod based COBRA hosted Rhyl with the hosts storming to an emphatic 50-0 victory at Cae Cobra to seal their place in the semi-finals of the competition.
Meanwhile a battling Newtown side fell just short in a 14-10 defeat at home to Mold with the Wrexham side progressing to the last four of the regional under 16s cup.
