The popular UK Star Track Athletics initiative, organised by Sport Powys in conjunction with Maldwyn Harriers Athletics Club and Welsh Athletics, was held at Newtown’s Maldwyn Leisure Centre earlier this summer.
The 15th annual staging of the event was attended by more than 50 children aged between seven and 15 and underlined the North Powys event’s stature as one of the biggest in Wales.
The two day camp included a full range of activities which were delivered by members of Newtown based Maldwyn Harriers Athletics Club and active leaders.
