BOW Street celebrated a comfortable 3-0 win at home to Tywyn Bryncrug in the only MMP-NL Mid Wales League One match of the day.
Goals from Tom Wyn, Josh Crowl and Steffan Richards ensured the spoils for the Magpies.
Elsewhere Aeron Powell completed a first-half hat-trick as Newbridge eased to glory at Abermule in MMP-NL Mid Wales League Two with Ollie Woods also netting.
Jamie Stuart also opened their campaign with a 4-1 win at home to basement side Knighton Town whose troubled season continued following a three point deduction for fielding an ineligible player.
Jon Ackroyd completed the scoring for the Students.
Meanwhile Machynlleth proved a class above Churchstoke with Jac Petrie starring with a hat-trick in a 7-1 rout.
Charlie Jellett added a brace and goals from Harry Vince-Holt and Dillon Browne completed a comfortable work out for the hosts with Natt Marston netting a consolation for the Marketmen.
Elsewhere Dyffryn Banw's clash with Presteigne was postponed.
