PENPARCAU showed no mercy in a 12-1 romp at home to Abermule in MMP-NL Mid Wales League Two.

Mule made the trip with just nine players following an unprecedented shortage of players willing to travel and were put to the sword by the ruthless hosts who continue to set the pace this season.

Ryan Edwards starred with four goals while Mike Gornall added a hat-trick and Anthony Evans a brace with Dion Davies and an own goal completing the rout whole Lyndon Clayton netted a consolation.

Elsewhere Natty Marston’s hat-trick inspired Churchstoke’s 6-0 win at Presteigne with Shane Morgan, Greg Pryce and Sean Wright also on target.

Chris Proctor was the match winner as Waterloo Rovers battled to a 1-0 win at a much improved Knighton Town.

Meanwhile Taylor Wozencraft came off the bench to fire Rhayader Town to a 2-1 win at Dolgellau Athletic after Jamie Evans’ strike was cancelled by Owain Williams for the hosts.

Jac Petrie struck twice with Charlie Jellett completing the scoring in Machynlleth’s 3-0 win at home to Dyffryn Banw.

Elsewhere Forden United hit back with Jake O’Donnell and Ross Harris goals to earn a point in a 2-2 at Borth United who led through Clive Morgan and Bryn McGilligan-Oliver.
