TOM Corfield carried his bat as Montgomery ended the season in style with a seven wicket win at home to Wroxeter.
Alex Bromley (1-29) and Aaron Ruff-Cock struck early as Dan Harris (22) and fellow opener Adie Eley (19) fell cheaply.
Ruff-Cock completed his 3-46 with Matthew Evans (19) falling before Joe Brown was caught by Ieuan Griffiths for 15.
Meanwhile Sam Williams (324) took centre stage with Charlie Haylett dislodged for a top scoring 57 before eating through the middle order as Rob Davies (13) and Ross Whitehouse (9) fell.
Edward Bennett (1-37) celebrated the wicket of Ian Ramsay, caught by Keelan Serjeant for two, to leave Wroxeter defending 184-8.
Harris (2-27) wasted little time in making his mark in reply with Monty opener Andrew Barker (4) soon joined in the pavilion by Bromley who was snared LBW for a duck.
However Corfield was joined by Griffiths in a crucial third wicket stand to push the home side to the brink when the latter fell to Brown (1-57) for a top scoring 77.
The outstanding Ruff-Cock (27no) joined Corfield (51no) in seeing Monty over the line with an unbroken fourth wicket stand to steer the Welshmen to 185-3 and glory in the 33th over.
