LLANIDLOES ended the season with six wicket win at Forton IIs only to miss out on the division seven title by a point.
Ioan Swallow (3-28) and Adrian Foulkes (3-29) were supported by Dave Moody (2-42) in restricting Forton to 169-9 with Antony Barrett (62) and David Frost (25) top scoring.
Foulkes (66) top scored in reply and joined by captain Andrew Jones (27) before Moody (28no) guided Llanidloes to 17-4 and glory in the 32nd over,.
However Lilleshall IIs celebrated an eight wicket win at home to Coton Hall to snatch title glory by a solitary point.
