TREGARON Turfs continue to set the pace in Cambrian Tyres Aberystwyth League One following an 8-1 romp against Talybont.

Cledan Davies led the rout with four goals while Carwyn Earey added a brace and further strikes from Rhun Garner and Ifan Jones settled the outcome while Sol Kilami replied.

Aberdyfi toasted a 3-1 win at home to Bont with George Richards, Liam Fox and Tim Holt cancelling Aled Parry’s reply.

Elsewhere Tom Constantine and Ryan Hopkins shared the plaudits with both netting twice for Llanilar in a 5-0 win at home to Penrhyncoch Reserves with Rhydian Ap Owen completing the tally.

Meanwhile Paul James scored the only goal of the game as Padarn United earned a 1-0 win over Borth United Reserves in division two.
