WELSHPOOL were left needing a miracle to avoid relegation following a 68 run defeat at Lilleshall.
Mat McWhinnie (3-57) claimed regular wickets while and Tom Bowen (3-37) included Ed Keenan (37) in his haul.
James Breese (1-43) celebrated the wicket of Richard Barge for a top scoring 43 to leave Conor Keenan (16no) unbeaten and Lilleshall all out for 190.
Lance Parkes (22), Nick Davies (16) and Dan Chodecki (16) top scored in reply as James Williamson (3-24), Conor Steele (2-20) and Conor Keenan (2-23) swept through the Pool order to complete their demise for 122.
