ALBERBURY suffered another heavy defeat in a 113 run loss at Shifnal IIs.
Tom Butler (1-60) trapped Amar Jassal LBE for 12 early on only for Paul Gough and Josh White to form a 115 run second wicket stand.
Andrew Holloway (1-57) finally broke the stand with White caught by James Harrap fir 50 while Myles Thomas (2-23) caught and bowled Gough for 60.
However Alberbury had no answer to Mark Bissell (43no) and Bryn Simmons (43no) whose 87 run fifth wicket stand guided Shifnal to 232-4 to defend.
Alberbury suffered a top order collapse in reply with Jassel and Tom Newnes (2-27) starring as the visitors were reduced to 47-5.
Mark Jones and Sam Morris combined in a 60 run seventh wicket stand before both departed in quick succession as Jassal (4-26) dismissed Jones (26) and Morris was caught by White off Ian Simmons (2-22) for a top scoring 48 to complete Alberbury’s demise for 119.
