RHYS Stephens has backed Llanfair United to bounce back when Corwen visit Mount Field on Saturday.
The Llanfair United manager watched his side taken apart 6-1 at Guilsfield last week but insisted his side were more than capable of putting the record straight against Corwen.
This week the North Wales club were crowned champions of last season’s Wrexham League after the Football Association of Wales stripped Queens Park of the title following a belated three point deduction.
In the same division Brymbo were docked 63 points by the FAW for a rule breach last season.
“We need a reaction after last week’s performance but I am sure we will get it,” said Stephens.
Llanfair are without the suspended Paul Griffiths and Gethin Stephens.
