CARRIE Jones will commence her Cardiff City career this week.
The Newtown teenager celebrated her 16th birthday the day after she was part of the Welsh side to draw 2-2 at home to Northern Ireland in Newport on Tuesday.
Jones made her full debut in Wales' 6-0 drubbing of the Faroe Islands last week.
Jones, who will wear the number 11 shirt for her new club, will look to take her international form into next season's National League programme.
