POWYS is the home to three further Welsh cycling champions.
While Crossgates rider Tim Davies raced to veteran class glory in the colours of Abergavenny Cycling Club two junior riders toasted Welsh Mountain Bike Series titles.
Builth Wells based Bulls Cycling Club star Freya Evans won the under 14s girls category while Sam Ryland, racing for Cycle-Tec, won the under 18s boys crown.
Each competed across Wales with venues including Llandegla, Pembrey and Llandysul with the Welsh Mountain Bike series famous for its lung busting climbs and technical descents.
Both youngsters are from Ysgol Calon Cymru in Builth Wells and juggle daily training with their studies.
