MID Wales bowlers ended among the silverware at the Welsh Women’s Bowling Association Finals Day.
Caroline Taylor of Berriew eased to a 17-3 win over Marion Gwynne of Trelewis 17-3 to be crowned Welsh 2 Wood singles champion.
Meanwhile Eileen Williams, Sophie Gittins, Emma Gittins and Kathy Pearce beat last years winners and club mates Nerys Lewis, Hazel Wilson, Isabel Jones and Caroline Taylor 20-18 in the fours final.
Llandrindod Wells duo Betty Morgan and Wendy Price beat Marion Purcell and Lowri Powell of Pontyfelin 22-13 to take the pairs crown.
The pairs and fours will represent Wales at the British Isles Series next year.
