GUILSFIELD’S promotion dream remains alive after a six wicket win at Cound IIs.
Rupert Shingler (1-53) caught and bowled David Ballinger for 15 before Allan Williams (4-20) included Greg Lawrence (19) and Kyle Marsh (21) in his haul.
Duncan Todd (4-15) and Sam Griffiths (1-7) completed Cound’s demise for 96.
Marsh (3-54) led Cound’s attack in reply but Andy Pugh (44no) and Todd (12no) combined in an unbroken fifth wicket stand to steer the Guils to 97-4 in the 20th over.
