WELSHPOOL were left facing relegation in the face following a four wicket defeat at Forton.
Matthew Sayers (2-31) struck early for the hosts before James Breese and Russell Cadwallader revived the Pool order.
Breese departed to Harry Kenyon (1-25) before the Pool order collapsed under pressure from Chris Hughes who completed his 6-30 with Cadwallader caught by Ashley Gillum for 56 to leave Welshpool defending 121-9.
Dennis Morris (5-45) led the attack in reply with support from Joe Cadwallader (1-14).
However Kenyon (44no) carried his bat and joined by Denzil Pudota (29) before forming an unbroken seventh wicket stand alongside Sayers (20no) to guide Forton to 125-6 and victory.
