NEWTOWN bid to kick start their JD Cymru Premier campaign with two games in four days.
The Robins travel to Carmarthen Town tonight (Friday) before hosting new boys Penybont to Latham Park on Bank Holiday Monday.
Newtown head into the Bank Holiday weekend keen to atone for last week’s disappointing home stalemate with Cefn Druids.
Once again a wasteful Newtown display allowed Druids off the hook with the Robins claiming a point.
Meanwhile Newtown have completed their summer strengthening with the addition of defender Alun Morris.
Morris arrives at Latham Park from Cefn Druids having also represented Llansantffraid in the Mid Wales League and Oswestry Town in the North West Counties League as well as the now defunct Defaid Du of Llandrinio.
