LLANFAIR United travel to JD Cymru Premier new boys Airbus UK Broughton on Saturday in the second round of the Nathaniel Cup.
The Mid Wales side make the trip to Deeside in fine fettle after a bright start to the campaign with a comeback victory against Llangefni Town last week.
United stepped up their preparations with a convincing 4-1 win at home to MMP-NL Mid Wales League Two side Forden United in midweek.
A Josh Astley double and goals from Tom Gregory and Toby Evans ensured United a winning end to their pre-season campaign.
United make the trip with a full squad at their disposal, including their quartet of summer signings.
Goalkeeper Danny Foulkes, defender Rhys Stephens and midfielders Gethin Jones and Aron James each joined in the summer.
Foulkes made an instant impact with a vital penalty save in last week’s 3-1 victory over Llangefni Town to mark his return following a spell at MMP-NL Mid Wales League Two side Abermule.
Manager Rhys Stephens said: “We are looking forward to the game.
“Airbus will be favourites but we have shown in the past we can compete against top flight sides and as a club we enjoy our cup runs. It will be a tough tie but one we are looking forward to.”
