LLANDRINDOD Wells opened their MMP-NL Mid Wales League One campaign with a 2-0 win at Radnor Valley tonight (Friday).
Goals from Mike Collister and Kieran McCarley ensured the Spamen the spoils.
Elsewhere Llanidloes Town began their campaign with a comfortable 4-0 win at new boys Montgomery Town.
Meanwhile Forden United announced their arrival in MMP-NL Mid Wales League Two with a 5-1 win at Abermule.
Jake O'Donnell and summer signing Alex Morgan shared the limelight with both completing doubles with Ryan Jenkins also on target with Mule netting a consolation through Jack Jarman.
