LLANFAIR United staged a fightback to overcome a spirited Llangefni Town in the first round of the Nathaniel Cup.
The Anglesey visitors led inside the opening 10 minutes with Craig Roberts heading home.
However United were level midway through the half with Karl Seliaerts rifling home from 20 yards.
Llanfair carried the initiative into the second-half with Josh Astley slotting his side ahead for the first time five minutes after the break.
Danny Foulkes kept the hosts ahead with a superb penalty save on the hour to deny John Jones after Callum McNamee was foulded in the area.
Llanfair cemented their progress in injury time with substitute Ashley Davies slotting home from close range to set up a second round meeting with JD Cymru Premier new boys Airbus UK Broughton on Saturday.
